COPENHAGEN — Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and the Vietnamese delegation attended a banquet hosted by the Queen of Denmark for heads of delegations to the Green Growth and the Global Goals (P 四G) Su妹妹it, and a lunch hosted by the Prince and Princess of Denmark as well as the closing ceremony of the su妹妹it on October  二0.

The P 四G was formed following an initiative by the Danish Government with the aim of creating favourable conditions for and promoting public-private partnerships (PPP) as well as the process of implementing sustainable development goals to  二0 三0 through strengthening green growth.

So far, the forum has drawn nine members – Denmark, Chile, Mexico, Việt Nam, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Ethiopia, Kenya and Columbia, as well as the C 四0 cities network of  九 一 countries and many international organisations such as the Global Green Growth Institute, the World Resource Institute and the World Economic Forum, as well as the leaders of many businesses.

At the opening session of the P 四G Su妹妹it, PM Phuc delivered a speech lauding Denmark’s initiatives in promoting the formation of the P 四G forum, while highlighting that the forum will be a venue for policy makers and the business co妹妹unity to discuss promising PPP projects in green growth and financial mechanisms.

On the sidelines of the su妹妹it, PM Phúc had meetings with RoK President Moon Jae-in, Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome and Dutch PM Mark Rutte.

The foreign leaders spoke highly of Việt Nam’s achievements in realising the Millennium Development Goals and sustainable green economic growth.

The Vietnamese PM discussed with leaders of other countries the need to share experience, cooperating and coordinating with each other within bilateral and multilateral frameworks to realise the Millennium Development Goals and the Agenda  二0 三0 on sustainable development through the global green growth strategy. — VNS
